The product promotion meeting of Dazhou basalt fiber new materials was held here. More than 200 people from municipal departments of Dazhou and Suining, counties, urban areas, high tech zones, economic development zones, teaching and scientific research institutions and enterprise representatives in the field of basalt fiber attended the meeting.

Jumeisheng is the only enterprise producing basalt fiber precursor in Dazhou. It is a state-owned holding high-tech enterprise integrating basalt fiber precursor production, composite material R & D, production, sales and investment.


Arriving at the promotion meeting in advance, jumeisheng brought many exhibits, including "high-end" products such as missile boxes in military industry and precision medical CT machine shells, as well as "grounding gas" products applied in municipal supporting facilities, Rural Revitalization and green building materials, which attracted a lot of attention.

Seizing the opportunity of this promotion meeting, jumeisheng also took the initiative to extend an olive branch and look forward to the new cooperation "bigger and stronger". On the same day, jumeisheng and Sichuan Yaoshun Construction Group Co., Ltd. signed the basalt fiber and product procurement cooperation agreement. The former will provide the latter with black fiber composite products such as short cut yarn for reinforced cement, short cut yarn for reinforced asphalt, black fiber composite seats, flower boxes, walkways, dustbins and so on.

Basalt fiber is a continuous fiber made of basalt formed by natural volcanic eruption as the only raw material, crushed and milled, added to the furnace, melted at high temperature and quickly drawn through platinum rhodium alloy leakage plate.

The production process of black fiber precursor does not produce waste water, waste gas and waste residue, which is green and environment-friendly. Therefore, many people vividly compare the transformation of basalt from ore to fiber as "turning stone into gold".


Jumeisheng completed the implementation of the basalt fiber industry in Dazhou in only half a year from the establishment of the company to the ignition and production of the first phase of the 3000 ton continuous basalt fiber precursor project.

To grow the industrial chain, scientific research is the key. From raw silk to winding, to adding black fiber categories, and then to enriching post-processing products, jumeisheng company has explored the development direction of "raw silk production - Application Development - Product Manufacturing - market expansion", which presents a good pattern of chain extension, chain supplement and cluster development.

It is understood that at present, there are more than 10 enterprises producing basalt fiber precursor in China. Jumeisheng sold more than 2000 tons of precursor in 2020, accounting for nearly one-third of the national market. Fiber precursor and its products are sold to Jiangsu, Hubei, Guangdong, Zhejiang and other places, and exported to the United States and Europe.

The "young" company, established in early 2018, had a sales revenue of only 400000 yuan in 2018 after it was put into operation at the end of April that year. From January to April this year, jumeisheng has achieved a sales revenue of more than 40 million yuan.

Look at the situation: thick planting fertile soil cluster development
In recent years, Dazhou has focused on cultivating and supporting "6 + 3" industrial clusters. The new material industry is one of the four 100 billion level industrial clusters, and the basalt fiber industry is not only an important support for the new material industry, but also the strategic engine for Dazhou high tech Zone to create a National High-tech Zone. Dazhou high tech Zone plans to build a 6000 mu basalt fiber industrial park, with a total investment of 1.62 billion yuan.


Relying on the advantages of natural gas and raw materials, focusing on the development of the whole industrial chain of Xuanxian fiber, Dazhou has a clear planning and determined the whole ecological chain development idea of "scientific and technological research and development - precursor production - post product production - Inspection and testing - demonstration application - Talent Cultivation - policy support". Jumeisheng's research, production and marketing integration development direction is consistent with it, and has become an important carrier to realize this idea.
