According to the development plan of basalt fiber industry in Dazhou City, Sichuan Province (2018-2030), Dazhou will be built into a national R & D and manufacturing base of continuous basalt fiber and its composites with leading technology, the largest scale, the most complete varieties and the lowest cost, and the largest R & D and manufacturing base of basalt flakes and their after products in China National basalt fiber commodity trading center and industrialization demonstration base.

According to the plan, Dazhou basalt fiber industrial park is located in the middle of Dazhou economic development zone. The overall planning of the park is about 6000 mu, which is constructed in two phases, including 2800 mu in phase I and 3200 mu in phase II.

At present, Dazhou Municipal Party committee and Dazhou Municipal government have included the basalt fiber industry into the city's 100 billion industrial cluster for key cultivation, and timely led the preparation of the plan. According to the overall plan, the development of basalt fiber industry in Dazhou will be implemented in stages. The sales revenue will reach 50 billion yuan by 2030 and 100 billion yuan by 2035. Dazhou will pay close attention to the planning "leader", promote the accelerated development of Xuanxian fiber industry, and build Dazhou Xuanxian fiber industrial park into a first-class new material industrial park.
