From September 19 to 20, Sichuan market supervision administration sent an expert group to accept the Sichuan basalt fiber and product quality supervision and Inspection Center prepared by Dazhou quality and technology supervision, inspection and testing center.

The expert group reviewed 31 requirements in terms of technical capacity, team building, scientific research capacity, trial operation, influence and authority and local government support one by one by means of on-site verification of data and on-site blind sample assessment. It is considered that the center has completed various technical indicators required by the preparation letter and the current situation of capacity-building has reached the advanced level in the province, It is unanimously agreed that the project has passed the acceptance, which marks the completion of the construction of the first provincial inspection center for basalt fiber and products supervision and inspection in the province.

It is reported that the basalt provincial inspection center project was approved in November 2017. During the construction process, Dazhou Municipal Party committee, Dazhou Municipal government and the provincial Market Supervision Bureau attached great importance to it and gave strong support in terms of construction site, construction funds and scientific research funds. After the center is completed, it can carry out the inspection and testing of 49 basalt fiber and product related parameters of 2 categories and 8 products, and undertake the tasks of standard preparation and revision of related products and Research on testing methods. It is a public technology platform integrating "production, learning, research and inspection", which is of great significance to promote the development of basalt fiber industry.
