Description
Description

Basalt fiber is a continuous fiber drawn at high speed through platinum-rhodium alloy wire drawing bushing after basalt material is melted at 1450℃~1500℃. Similar to glass fiber, its performance is between high-strength S-glass fiber and alkali-free E-glass fiber. The color of pure natural basalt fiber is generally brown, some like gold.

Basalt fiber products

1. Basalt fiber untwisted roving is a basalt fiber product formed by combining multiple strands of parallel strands or single strands of parallel strands without twisting;

2. Basalt fiber textile yarn is a yarn made of multiple basalt fiber filaments through twisting and plied. The diameter of the single filament is generally ≤9μm. Textile yarns can be roughly divided into weaving yarns and other industrial yarns; weaving yarns are mainly cop yarns and milk bottle-shaped cheese yarns.

3. Basalt fiber chopped yarn is a product made from continuous basalt fiber strands. The fibers are coated with a (silane) sizing. Therefore, basalt fiber chopped yarn is the first choice material for reinforcing thermoplastic resin, and it is also the best material for reinforcing concrete. Basalt is a high-performance volcanic rock component. This special silicate makes basalt fibers have excellent chemical resistance, especially alkali resistance. Therefore, basalt fiber is an excellent material to replace polypropylene (PP) and polyacrylonitrile (PAN) for reinforcing cement concrete; it is also a very competitive product to replace polyester fiber, lignin fiber and other products for asphalt concrete, which can improve the High temperature stability, low temperature crack resistance and fatigue resistance of asphalt concrete.

4. Basalt fiber bulked yarn is made of basalt fiber bulked yarn by passing basalt fiber yarn through a high-performance bulking machine. The forming principle is: the high-speed air flow enters the forming and puffing channel to form turbulent flow, and the basalt fiber is dispersed by this turbulent flow to form a terry fiber, thereby giving the basalt fiber bulkiness and making it into a bulky yarn.

5. Basalt fiber cloth

6. Basalt fiber felt
