Basalt fiber chopped strand is based on the continuous basalt fiber though special surface treatment. which is cut in a certain length according to user demand.
Basalt fiber chopped strand is of well chemical resistance, the alkali resistance makes it an excellent material to replace polypropylene (PP) and polyacrylonitrile (PAN)
for reinforced cement concrete.
Basalt fiber chopped strands used in cement concrete/mortar is a kind of steel-like fiber reinforced material specially developed. As a secondary reinforcement material,
it can significantly improve the toughness, flexural tensile properties and impermeability of concrete.
Forming Process:
Basalt fiber chopped strand is cut by the basalt fiber with special surface treatment.
Product advantage:
Reduce the thermal cracking and improve the crack-resisitance of the road at a low temperature above 40%. Improve the water damage resistance, it is of good permeability
so the roads are not prone to accumulate water. Improve the fatigue resisitance performance above two times, and prolong the using life of roads.
