Basalt fiber composite tile installation process
1. Line up
Before installation, the line should be straightened according to the on-site roof conditions, which will help the installation of tiles to reach horizontal and vertical, and ensure the installation quality and aesthetic effect.
2. Install the main tile
During the installation of the main tile, check the verticality of the bottom edge of the tile and the construction line at any time, and then install the fixing parts after confirming that it is correct. Longitudinal installation to overlap one section length of the tile. The installation of the main tiles on the two-slope roof should be carried out simultaneously at both ends to ensure that the wave crests of the positive ridge tiles are installed.
3. Installation and selection of main tile
Self-tapping screws with a diameter of 6.3mm and a length of 75mm; the installation of positive ridge tiles and inclined ridge tiles is based on the different fixed orientations, and self-tapping screws with a diameter of 6.3mm and a length of 110-150mm are selected. When fixing the tile, first place the waterproof ring in the groove under the maintenance pad, and pass the self-tapping screw through the center hole of the maintenance pad (the arc side faces down). The electric drill should be perpendicular to the tile surface. The tightness should be moderate, and then install the waterproof cap after completion. Use self-tapping screws or stainless steel angle nails for steel purlins, and self-tapping screws for wooden purlins. First drill a hole larger than 2mm in diameter of the self-tapping screw on the crest to be fixed, and fix a set of accessories every other crest.
